This is an opportunity to slow down and recharge. Join Nunami from Blak Led tours for a walk on Kunanyi / Mount Wellington. This new experience centres story and culture to foster a sense of connection and respect for the mountain.
Throughout the walk you will gain an understanding and appreciation of Kunanyi as a defining cultural landscape at Nipaluna, while exploring the ways palawa community connect to this place today.
Starting and ending at the Springs we will take a gentle walk while grounding ourselves in the seasons and cycles that are constantly taking place on Kunanyi. You will be encouraged to take it slow, and learn about the abundant cultural resources and landmarks present in the landscape.
There is a maximum group size of 14 on our Kunanyi tour to ensure an intimate and connective experience.
This walking tour involves 2 hours of walking; with many stops along the way. There are no seats along the track and the toilet is at the start of the track. The toilet is wheelchair accessible.
It’s a 2.7 km course beginning and ending at the Springs
Patrons are advised to dress for the weather. The weather on kunanyi is colder than in the city. Wind, rain and occasional snowfall is to be expected.
Meals are not provided on the tour so patrons are advised to plan meals in advance. There is a cafe at our meeting point where meals can be purchased before and after the tour.
PAYMENT: All bookings are preferred to be pre-paid at the time of booking, any clients who have agreed credit, will be invoiced to the Booking Company and all invoices are payable at 7 days unless agreed by both parties. Payment received later than the nominated payment period may incur interest.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Public Tours:
Any bookings cancelled within three (3) days of booking date, will incur a 25% cancellation fee. Any bookings cancelled within twenty four (24) hours of booking date, and including any no shows will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
Private Charter:
Any bookings cancelled within seven (7) days of booking date, will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Any bookings cancelled within three (3) days of booking date, including any no shows will incur a 100% cancellation fee (this does not apply where an agreement to reschedule has been made between both parties)..
– No refund can be given for any unused services.
– Should a booking include any external operator inclusions, cancellation fees are in line with the external operators’ cancellations policy and an administration fee may be applicable to components that Blak Led Tours is liable for.
– We encourage our customers to purchase travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
NO SHOWS: Full cancellation applies and will be billed to the Booking Agent/ Guest
SPECIAL NOTE: All rates are subject to increase in the case of Government levies, taxation or in line with external operator charges. All ticket rates are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (G.S.T.), group booking prices are exclusive of GST,
WEATHER POLICY: No responsibility will be accepted for adverse weather conditions. Due to weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances, the operator reserves the right to alter the itinerary or cancel the tour. When we cancel a trip we will refund any money paid additional to the deposit and customers will be offered an reschedule.
CHILDREN POLICY: Children are welcome to participate under supervision of a Parent or Guardian. Blak Led Tours accepts no responsibility for the supervision of children. Parents or guardians must accept all responsibilities for their child(ren).

· The tour operator does not accept any responsibility for the loss or damage to personal items. There is a $40 handling fee (plus any charges incurred) for returning left items.

Kunanyi connection is most suited for children 6 years and above (especially if they are up for a 2.7km walk).
Blak Led Tours welcomes people with access needs. People with hearing loss are catered for via the use of personal headsets on request. Although these do not work with bluetooth devices.
Unfortunately this route is ot suitable for wheelchairs, prams or those with low mobility needs. However we are more than happy to offer small group tours from the Springs for those with these access needs on request. The toilet at the Springs is accessible.
Our other ‘takara nipaluna’ City tour is completely accessible as well.
